As you've noticed we have a new web site, which is powered by a great tool to manage many administrative tasks for NARO. As a part of this new tool, we have these forums which we consider a vital part of NARO membership. However, this forum software is incomplete and did not allow us to import our old forums nor does it include many important features like the ability to search. What we've discussed is installing a more powerful forum software with the drawback being that the passwords would not synchronize between the NARO site and the new forums.
We want to know if you all are okay with that setup knowing that it might be confusing for many of the members to remember two passwords and when to use each one? Is this an acceptable option or would you prefer that things remain as they are? Thank you in advance for your feedback!
