    Does anyone know the going rate for lease bonuses in Harper Co., KS? I was just contacted with an offer of $750 per mineral acre with a 1/5 royalty. I haven't leased in KS in several years. Thankd for any help.

    Susan:  I couldn't find specific Kansas info but when researching I remembered new development immediately South the OK Counties of Grant and Woods.  Based on current pooling orders in the abutting OK Counties your offer is superior to the pooling terms. 

     

    If anyone has better and more current info, please respond.

    I've received a written offer of $500 for 3 yrs with 2 yr option and 3/16ths, from Continental Land Resources, LLC on behalf of Sand Ridge. For Section 36-34S-6W, Harper, KS.

    I've countered with $750 for 3 yrs or $1,000 for the 3 yr w 2 yr option. No reponse yet!
