    Hello

I have minerals in the Crown 1-30HC in Roger Mills counts, 17N-25W-section 30.

I receive checks from Cordillera for two years or more.

The checks in the past have been gas and oil , but this month

check for production 2/2012 was for gas only and is about 1/3 of what I

have been getting when oil is included. I think in February of 2012 oil was high.

I have heard when a well is new, the production is more, and checks have

been about 50% of what they were in the beginning.

This is the first time they have not included Oil, anyone know why?

    Thanks

    Lauren

Could be your gas goes directly into a pipeline while your oil goes into a tank.  Tanks are only pumped out & sold when they're full.

Ann, thank you for your prompt reply.

So I guess if I received Gas and Oil for about 24 months, this is the first

month they did not have enought to put in the tank.

Ann, did you go to the Okla Naro convention? I missed, hope I can

go next year and meet some of you wonderful folks that answer

    my questions.

It sounds like the well could possibly of had some down time.  If the production equipment is not working most liquids won't be lifted where as gas will still produce but not in the quanities as before due to hydrostatic pressure of any fluids that may be in the wellbore while it is down.

Back in January one of my wells had a low production of oil due to parafin.  They had to treat the tanks and add a chemical at the well head.  Three truck loads of oil were rejected due to this problem.  This was a new well and I was told this was very common.  This may have been the problem with your well.
