A New Rockies Logo?
Yes! Exciting news from the National Board Meeting!!
During the National Board Meeting October 8, 2014 in Albuquerque, the decision to form a separate NARO Colorado chapter was approved. This change would allow the board and membership with Colorado interests the ability to concentrate their efforts and resources on the issues specific to Colorado. The Board will remain the same, simply operating under "Colorado" rather than "Rockies".
NARO Rockies will now represent the royalty owners in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. The chapter will be based in Utah, led by Craig Peterson and a newly formed board of directors from each of the states. The National Board as well as the state chapter board members unanimously felt this change would benefit all the NARO members.
How Do I Become a Member of NARO Colorado?
If you are currently a member of NARO Rockies:
Membership status can only change at renewal time. We are not able to switch your membership midyear. However, during this transition Rockies members will begin receiving information from both Rockies and Colorado to ensure that you don't miss anything important to you!
When renewing your membership, you will have the option to choose which chapter you would like to belong. You can then choose additional chapters for $25.00 each if you would like to. The Rockies Chapter and the Colorado Chapter each look forward to having you as a member, and very much appreciate your continued support.
If you are new to NARO:
You can join online, with a printed membership application through the US Mail or by calling our National Office and selecting "NARO Colorado" as your primary chapter membership.
If you have questions about this process don't hesitate to contact our National Office at 800-558-0557 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Both NARO Rockies and NARO Colorado appreciate your support during this exciting transition and look forward to using this change as a way to better serve their members!
NARO continues to be the ONLY national organization representing solely and without compromise, oil and gas royalty owners' interests. We appreciate your support as we stand up together to protect our property rights and our future.
