This webinar will give an overview of the impact of operator bankruptcy on oil and gas royalty interests. Michael Reer will present a short overview of the bankruptcy process and discuss how state law can impact whether a lessor’s royalty payments are secured despite an operator’s bankruptcy, and different ways lessors can protect their royalty interests in the event of an operator bankruptcy.
