Foundations of Mineral Ownership is a beginner-friendly course designed for those who are new to minerals or looking to build a strong foundation in mineral management. Led by community leaders from your local chapter, this 3-hour educational session is followed by a 30-minute Q&A and takes place just before the convention begins.
NARO members who are not currently enrolled in the Mineral Management Program (MMP) may attend this class after paying the class fee. This fee covers only this class and is separate from the NARO East Convention registration or Mineral Management Program fees.
The National Association of Royalty Owners – Rocky Mountain Chapter invites your business to sponsor our annual convention, held on June 11–12, 2026, both in-person at the Denver Earth Resource Library in Denver, Colorado and virtually via Zoom.
This annual event connects mineral rights and royalty owners from Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah with businesses in the oil and gas industry, creating valuable opportunities for education, networking, and partnership.
Sponsoring our convention highlights your company’s support for mineral owners, who play an essential role as the foundation of America’s domestic energy production. Your involvement helps provide critical resources and education for hundreds of mineral rights holders, positioning your business as a trusted partner within this influential community.
We would be honored to have your support in furthering NARO’s mission and making this year’s convention a success!
Jordan Renner Rocky Mountain Chapter President

The Mineral Management Review Course is an engaging four-hour session designed to reinforce and expand the knowledge gained through the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO) Mineral Management Program (MMP). Offered several times throughout the year, this course provides multiple opportunities to strengthen your understanding of key mineral management concepts.
While optional within the MMP, many participants choose to attend because it offers a valuable opportunity to review essential topics, ask questions, and sharpen the skills needed to confidently manage mineral interests. Participants will receive four (4) Educational Credits (ECs) for attending.
To ensure an interactive and valuable experience, a minimum of six (6) registered attendees is required. If the minimum enrollment is not met, all registrations will be fully refunded.
